PGNiG Gas to Launch Extraction in Norway & Pakistan Next Year

Polish gas monopolist PGNiG will launch extraction at its Skarv oil & gas field in Q3 2011, extraction in Pakistan will also be launched in H2 2011, CFO Slawomir Hinc told PAP Polish News Agency.

In 2011, PGNiG also wants to conduct an exploration drilling in Denmark. Reserves there are estimated at 2.2 mln tons of crude oil.

According to Hinc, after the launch of production in Norway, and after launching LMG mine in Poland in 2013, PGNiG annual production may triple to almost 1.5 mln tons.
