Warsaw Bourse Wants to Prolong Session Time

The Warsaw Stock Exchange is negotiating with brokerage houses the prolongation of sessions on the WSE to 17:30 local time from current 16:30, arguing it will attract new investors and assure better synchronization with the US market, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reports.

However, survey conducted among brokerage houses, private pension funds and investment funds are reluctant about this idea as they fear cost increase, the daily cites a research conducted by brokers and advisors association ZMiD.
