Poland celebrates 100 years of independence

Sunday, November 11, exactly 100 years after the country regained freedom. Poland regained independence on November 11, 1918, after 123 years of partitions.

Celebrations are taking place across Poland to mark the anniversary of the re-establishment of the country’s independence in 1918.
