Polish Government Passes Designer Drug Laws
Following the cabinet meeting Prime Minister Donald Tusk said the Polish government adopted a draft law meant to put an end to the designer drug trafficking.
The bill proposes a ban on producing OTC drugs containing psychotropic substances. Retailers who break the law will face a fine of between 20,000 to one million zloty.
The Polish police and sanitary authorities closed down in a huge crackdown designer drug shops in Poland over the last weekend following a series of poisonings and deaths due to designer drugs intake.
