The Polish government decided to stop subsidizing foreign investment in Poland's large cities with low unemployment rate, Rzeczpospolita daily reports.
The Economy Ministry's believes that this decision will not affect projects that are already listed as ones to be supported in the framework of multi-year programs, but there is no guarantee that all of them will be accepted, the daily writes citing deputy Economy Minister Rafal Baniak.
The cut will mostly hit Poland's attractiveness for business services sector, the daily adds.
Polish FDI agency PAIiIZ is concerned about the chances of attracting 20 currently negotiated projects of the sectors BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) and SSC (Shares Services Centres), the agency's head Slawomir Majman told the daily.
